These white Alabaster Scotties were hand carried from Volterra, Italy! Volterra is one of the Etruscan towns in Tuscany that also has Roman ruins. It is known for the alabaster carving. Imagine my delight to find small alabaster Scotties that resemble the German wood carvings. Each Scottie is about 1 1/2" x 2", with the tall ears. As they are hand carved, each one is slightly different. Limited supply - I could only being a few from Volterra in my tote bag.
